INGLATERRA, 2 de enero de 2017 / AMP — Championship : Después de empatar 2-2 con el Birmingham City el 31 de diciembre, los “Tykes” se recuperaron con una victoria de 1-0 sobre el Nottingham Forest , este lunes, en la 25ª jornada de la segunda división inglesa.
Ninugo de los dos equipos destacó durante los primeros 45 minutos de juego. 0-0 en el descanso, todo se decidió en la segunda parte con el gol de Hourihane Conor a dos minutos del final del tiempo reglamentario.
El Barnsley FC subió al 8.º puesto con 38 puntos en 25 partidos, 2 puntos por detrás de Derby County FC.
