INGLATERRA, 2 de diciembre de 2017 / AMP — League One : Después de empatar 1-1 con el Milton Keynes Dons el 25 de noviembre y 1-1 con el Oxford United el 25 de noviembre, los “Shrimpers” se recuperaron con una victoria de 2-0 sobre el Oldham Athletic , este sábado, en la 17ª jornada de la tercera división inglesa.
El Southend United dominó la primera parte gracias al gol de Demetriou Jason de penalti en el minuto 17. Yendo a la cabeza 1-0 en el descanso, los jugadores del Southend United ampliaron su ventaja en la segunda parte con un gol de Wright Josh en el minuto 54.
El Southend United FC subió al 9.º puesto con 28 puntos en 20 partidos, only un punto por detrás de Portsmouth FC.
