INGLATERRA, 24 de septiembre de 2016 / AMP — League One : Después de perder 3-1 con el Chesterfield el 17 de septiembre, los “Cobblers” se recuperaron con una victoria de 4-0 sobre el Southend United , este sábado, en la 9ª jornada de la tercera división inglesa.
Después de 45 minutos de juego, ni el Northampton Town, ni el Southend United habían conseguido romper el empate. 0-0 en el descanso, todo se decidió en la segunda parte con los goles de O Toole John-joe (46'), Revell Alex (51' de penalti), Taylor Matthew (59') y Anderson Paul (78').
El Northampton Town FC subió al quinto puesto con 14 puntos en 9 partidos, only un punto por detrás de Bradford City AFC.
