El Carlisle United dominó la primera parte gracias a los goles de Grainger Danny (6' de penalti) y Ibehre Jabo (45'). Yendo a la cabeza 2-0 en el descanso, los jugadores del Carlisle United ampliaron su ventaja en la segunda parte con un nuevo gol de Ibehre Jabo en el minuto 59.
